Corridor EZ V27.02 Readme

Corridor EZ V27.02 is an update to Corridor EZ V27.00 and includes all fixes, improvements and changes from V27.01.
This build addresses customer reported issues, issues uncovered during internal testing and improvements.
CRITICAL INFORMATION TO CIVIL 3D 2026 AND 2025 USERS
Autodesk recently updated its 2025 and 2026 product lines to transition to the Microsoft .NET 10 runtime environment. Because this changes underlying system components, it impacts how older Corridor EZ settings files are handled, particularly settings migrated forward from legacy versions of Corridor EZ.
To accommodate this, Corridor EZ V27.02 on Civil 3D 2025 and 2026 are compiled in .net10 runtime. This means they will not operate on Civil 3D 2025 or 2026 platforms unless you are running at least the following versions (type ABOUT at the command line to check the product version):
  • Civil 3D 2025: Version 2025.2.7 or higher
  • Civil 3D 2026: Version 2026.2.2 or higher
You MUST update these platforms in order to operate Corridor EZ V27.02.

Improvements:

  • FastTrack AI
    • Interface and functionality has been enhanced to facilitate an ongoing chat and establish the plan for creating design models
    • Natural language requests to apply Start Connect and End Connect controls are better handled and included in the workflow/plan.
    • Added an option to output the change report as .html instead of .pdf
  • Project Assist AI
    • Usage limits have been increased
    • The model has been updated to improve speed and reasoning
    • Tool calls are now batched rather than run individually to improve tool recall
  • The Delete Gradings form now includes a multi select option to quickly select multiple gradings for deletion
  • The Auto Create Grading command now has an option to rebuild Grading Strings for any selected polylines that are already used as grading strings
  • Vertical Grading Editor > Auto Profile command
    • Section based IP creation commands now include Section Sampling controls, to allow control over the chainages where IP’s are created
    • Added a new ‘Steps’ Auto Profile command to create regular near-vertical elevation changes at user controlled distances (to represent block and retaining walls)
    • Added a new plan-based UI for adding Auto Profile entries using conversational AI
    • The Import Vertical Design tool now supports importing via LandXML file
  • Sight Distance setup
    • Added a copy option to copy a sight distance table, to speed up creation of multiple sight distance analysis options.

Fixes:

  • Fixed an issue related to displaying CAD objects – in some configurations the CAD sections would not display on the Vertical Grading Editor window.
  • In Project Assist AI, starting a new Chat could potentially freeze in certain situations – this problem has been rectified
  • FastTrack Settings were being set once per session and applied automatically to other drawings as they are opened in a session. This issue has been addressed.
  • Settings Migrator updated to ensure updating of all settings files that require conversion from a serialised file format.
  • Improved project folder cleanup when using Project Storage – previously this could impact operation of the software
  • Fixed an issue related to displaying certain 3D data in Quick Section
  • Fixed an issue where Intersection Manager details were not loaded when opening a project
