Corridor EZ is a Civil 3D application which builds on your Civil 3D surfaces and alignments to quickly create
Civil 3D corridors.
Using powerful workflow tools found inside the corridor easy tool space, users can spend less time creating the corridor and more time focusing on design.
Corridor EZ includes a familiar tool space work flow environment where users can access all the tools needed simply following a path of creating and editing design elements all with the right click of the mouse.
Once launched, Corridor EZ users can immediately visualize their Civil 3D surfaces in the model viewer, which provides a live three d environment to review surfaces without the need for selections within the drawing.
Replacing the need to build time consuming and complex assemblies, templates are the backbone of Corridor EZ. Using the template editor, users can create a large range of templates for features such as roads, curbs, sidewalks, and even pond elements.
They can be easily customized to meet the specific project needs.
When your design is ready for production and delivery of the corridor, Corridor EZ will create the required assemblies for you from the design in the drawing environment.
Financing the Civil 3D alignments, Corridor EZ has tools to create your roads, curb returns, and cul de sacs with speed, applying your templates to the design.
Intuitive forms such as the intersection manager allow users to create intersections and curb returns across multiple intersections on the project.
Smart network string tools allow users to individually edit and customize curb returns and cul de sacs.
The vertical grading editor is a live interface for your vertical design and in combination with a live cross section window provides users with precision design tools for projects using multiple interactive design windows which dynamically update as you change your design.
The model view is an effective part of the design process offering users real time rendering and 3D visualization of the design elements with the Civil 3D surfaces.
Corridor EZ introduces artificial intelligence for subdivision design with Project Assist.
Using your project data, Project Assist builds the framework of the design for the entirety or portions of a subdivision in a single operation, including your roads, curb returns, and and cul de sacs.
At the click of a button, Corridor EZ design surfaces can be outputted as Civil 3D surfaces, and profiles can be outputted as Civil 3D profiles complete with profile views.
Users can edit the Civil 3D profiles and read back the design to update roads, curb returns, and cul de sacs.
The sectional volumes tool gives users live volume reports of their sections through their design.
At the click of a mouse, create a multi baseline corridor including all assemblies, targets, regions, and overrides. If you need to make a change, another road or pair of curb returns, for example, no problem. Use the design tools to make changes to your design and simply sync your corridor.
